Arrest, charges made in June shooting at Walnut Park West neighborhood gas station
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An 18-year-old was arrested and charged Thursday in connection to an early June shooting. Shaun Hickman, 18, was charged with two counts of first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of unlawful use of a weapon by shooting at a motor vehicle.
County councilwoman in running for St. Louis area anti-homicide post
ST. LOUIS COUNTY — County Councilwoman Kelli Dunaway, who isn’t seeking reelection this year, is in the running to become director of a new regional anti-homicide effort. Jim Wild, executive director of the East-West Gateway Council of Governments, confirmed that Dunaway is among three people who are being interviewed for the job with the new initiative, called Save Lives Now!
Semi-truck overturns, closing downtown ramp to bi-state Poplar Street Bridge
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A ramp in Downtown St. Louis was closed after a semi-truck overturned late morning Thursday. The northbound I-55 ramp leading onto the Poplar Street Bridge towards Illinois was closed after a semi-truck overturned on the road. Police believe it is a two-vehicle crash where the semi-truck hit the median before overturning.
