Man convicted in 2022 Antelope DUI crash that left child paralyzed
ANTELOPE, Calif. — A man under the influence of meth who crashed a stolen truck into a family’s car in 2022 in Antelope has been convicted. According to the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, a jury convicted John Hayden Hart of felony DUI causing injury, and felony vehicle theft.
Sacramento County Main Jail inmate dead, another found 'unresponsive' but OK

Roseville police arrest eight in retail theft operation
ROSEVILLE, California — Roseville Police arrested eight individuals and impounded two vehicles during Operation Heat Wave, a retail theft crackdown conducted on Tuesday. Roseville Police Officers responded to a report of a vehicle leaving a mall area after a theft. Officers located the vehicle in a different parking lot, but the car did not yield, leading to a pursuit. During the chase, suspects threw stolen property out of the window. The vehicle eventually stopped, and both suspects were arrested for burglary, theft, and evading charges, according to the Roseville Police Department. They were booked into Placer County Jail.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY – Authorities say two people have died after a small plane crash near the Kneeland Airport late Tuesday morning. The FAA says the single-engine Cessna 206 crashed around 11:30 a.m. after departing from Sacramento McClellan Airport. Only two people were on board the plane when it crashed; the FAA says; both of those people have died. Cal Fire officials have confirmed that the two people killed were contractors with Amentum Aviation. Here are the published incidents from July 8-14: At around 8:06 p.m., while investigating an earlier crime, Rocklin officers were notified by store staff of a male and female subject who had just taken store products and attempted to return the products on the 4700 block of Granite Drive. Officers contacted the two subjects and after a criminal records check, it was learned the female had an outstanding felony warrant and was in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The male subject initially lied about his name and once learning his real name, it was discovered he had an outstanding out-of-state misdemeanor warrant. Both subjects were arrested and booked at the South Placer Jail.
