Salt Lake City, Utah – are y’all ready for Utah Days of ‘47 Rodeo? This spectacular rodeo is presented by Zions Bank and is known for being one of the top rodeos in the nation. This grand event has officially kicked off running July 19-20, & 22nd-24th. This rodeo will be held in the state-of-the-art 17.5 million-dollar Days of ‘47 Arena at the Utah State Fair Park to celebrate the cowboy way of life and the rich Western roots. Holding 10,000 reserved stadium-style seats for fans, there’s not a bad seat in this venue.

Utah State fires coach Blake Anderson for 'significant violations of his contractual obligations'
LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Utah State fired coach Blake Anderson for “significant violations of his contractual obligations” on Thursday, 16 days after the school informed him that he would be dismissed following an external review that found he failed to comply with Title IX policies regarding the reporting of sexual misconduct cases. “These reporting requirements include a prohibition on employees outside the USU Office of Equity from investigating issues of sexual misconduct, including domestic violence,” the school said. “Additionally, Anderson failed to manage the team in a manner that reflects USU’s academic values.” Nate Dreiling, who had been Utah State’s defensive coordinator and defensive ends coach, was elevated on July 2 to interim coach for the upcoming season. Associate vice president and deputy athletic director of external affairs Jerry Bovee and football director of player development and community Austin Albrecht were fired on July 2 “for violations of university policies related to the reporting of sexual and domestic violence and failures of professional responsibilities.”

SALT LAKE CITY — A group of six Utah teenagers will travel to France on Sunday to participate in a global youth sports festival ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Utah State Men’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule
LOGAN, Utah – Utah State men's basketball announced the non-conference portion of its 2024-25 schedule on Thursday, a slate with 11 total games including seven at home. Utah State officially opens the campaign with four-straight games at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum, first hosting Alcorn State on Wednesday, Nov. 6. USU will then host an opponent to be determined on Saturday, Nov. 9. The homestand continues with games on Wednesday, Nov. 13, and Monday, Nov. 18, as the team hosts Westminster and Montana, respectively.
