High school lacrosse player spots goals, trailer stolen from Sandy shop
SANDY — Often what is stolen is gone for good and that could have been what happened when thieves stole a trailer full of lacrosse goals from a local business this week. However, a community of athletes came together in a way the bad guys probably weren’t expecting.

That simmering rage started to boil over on Thursday morning after his quest to cast doubt on the signatures Cox used to qualify for the ballot suffered a setback at the hands of Utah’s State Records Committee. Lyman had spent weeks urging his followers to show up en masse to the meeting.

They gathered from across the state of Utah but far from its population centers. Some 70 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation volunteers came together in late June for the annual state rendezvous and volunteer project in Richfield, about 140 miles south of Salt Lake City and 165 miles north of St. George.
