It looks like Rite Aid has pretty much given up on Michigan. That's a tough but accurate statement, given that 185 stores were operating in Michigan at the beginning of 2024. Since the company's June bankruptcy and before Monday's latest filing, 165 Michigan stores were slated for closure, according to MLive. The latest paperwork handed over on August 5 has revealed Rite Aid's plans to shutter six additional locations to that list.
