Dick’s Open announces dates for 2025
The Dick’s Open will return to En-Joi Golf Club in Endicott in 2025, but this time the tournament will tee off in July. The tournament week will begin with practice rounds on Monday, July 7th and Tuesday, July 8th next year. The Dick’s Open Pro-Am will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.

Bears Announce 2024-2025 Home Opener
The Binghamton Black Bears will hang their Commissioner's Cup banner on Saturday, October 12th during the team's home opener. The 2024-2025 FPHL schedule has not been released, but the Black Bears did announce on social media that the team's home opener will be on October 12th at 7 pm against the Watertown Wolves. The team also alluded that the home opener will be the day the 2023-2024 Commissioner's Cup Champions banner will be hoisted.

Binghamton man sentenced to probation after setting fire that destroyed vacant house
A Binghamton man who admitted to setting a blaze that destroyed a vacant house in the city earlier this year will get no jail time. Binghamton police in February charged Terry Bell, 56, with fourth-degree arson, a felony, following an investigation into a blaze at 122 Henry St. in the city.
Drugs, Paraphernalia Found in Kirkwood Apartment, Binghamton Man Charged
A Binghamton man is charged after drugs and paraphernalia were found in a Kirkwood apartment in June. According to the Vestal Police Department, members of the department's Narcotics Division executed a search warrant at an apartment at 933 US-11, along with state police, on June 21st. Police say numerous types of narcotics, packaging, and scales consistent with the sale of narcotics, were found.
