MILLTOWN, NJ - Rutherford's William Brancato crossed the finish line of the 2024 Milltown Painting the Town Red, White and Blue 5K first on Thursday with a winning time of 16:00.3. The 29-year-old was also first in the male 20-29 age bracket. Brancato beat Milltown's Kyle Price by 50 seconds. Price has won the annual race in his hometown for several years running. Two stars for the Rutgers men's and women's lacrosse teams, Shane Knobloch and Cassidy Spiles, were awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor yesterday.
