County officials may be cautiously optimistic about the prospect of a final exit from the Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) following the sale of one of the park and ride lots. The Town of Dobson released a statement Wednesday morning alerting residents that a water line break would cause an interruption to water service. Their alert said service would be interrupted around 1 p.m. and a follow up announcement from the town around 3 p.m. said, "The leak has been fixed and water service has been restored."
