According to our source, Channel 9 in Charlotte, here’s what happened. The school district posted on social media Sunday night that there were some mistakes in communication about bus routes. The district said they of course thought they were accurate when originally sent out. The statewide hydroelectric company announced on Aug. 9 the need for a controlled spill after heightened rainfall in the Santee Cooper watershed and upstream lake operations caused increased inflows into the Santee Cooper system.
