A record number of mosquitoes in Las Vegas are carrying West Nile virus, prompting local health officials to warn the public to be careful and take precautions. Fire reaches more than 400 acres in southern Utah
MARYSVALE, Piute County — Firefighters are responding to an active fire in southern Utah that has reached 450 acres. Utah Fire Info first posted around 4 p.m. about the blaze, which is located about eight miles west of Marysvale. As of 7:30 p.m., the fire had expanded to 450 acres.
