Parma, Mo. man accused of trying to ‘make connection’ with 11-year-old girl
NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A southeast Missouri man is accused of trying to “make a connection” with an 11-year-old girl. Kenneth W. Rye, 30, of Parma, is being held at the New Madrid County Jail on a warrant for enticement of a child. His bond was set at $250,000 cash only.

The New Madrid County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Bikers Against Predators about an adult male attempting to make a connection with an 11-year-old female on Thursday (July 25th). The Bikers Against Predators is a non-profit organization that works to expose child predators. Deputies responded to the location for investigation.
Bernie man seriously injured after motorcycle-involved crash
MALDEN, Mo. (KFVS) - A man from Bernie, Missouri was seriously injured after a two-vehicle crash in Dunklin County Friday evening. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Reports, the crash took place on July 26 around 6:09 p.m. Both vehicles were going northbound on Route MM, five miles west of Malden.
