Triple-digit heat returns with smoke from Canadian wildfires
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - We’re turning up the heat again across Western Colorado. Triple-digit heat could bake the Grand Valley on Wednesday and Thursday. The Grand Valley is almost always the hottest part of Colorado’s Western Slope. We’ll be nearing 100 degrees in the Grand Valley on Tuesday. Some of our backyard thermometers may touch the century mark, but most of us will stay just shy. Wednesday is a different story. High temperatures will range from 101 degrees around Grand Junction to 103 degrees around the Redlands to 104 degrees around Fruita. Thursday will still be cooking, but we’ll turn down the heat a degree or two. High temperatures will range from 100 degrees around Grand Junction and Palisade to 101 degrees around Fruita and Mack.

7 way-too-early predictions for Deion Sanders' potential next stop after Colorado
Although I fully expect for Deion Sanders to stay in the college game for a while, there is a chance he could leave the Colorado Buffaloes in a few years for an even bigger job. To me, it seems like he and his family are happy in Boulder, and he seems to have fit in quite nicely at his Power Four institution now back in the Big 12. However, I do expect the Buffs will start winning games, possibly this season.
