Noah Lyles, Sha'Carri Richardson headline final weekend of Olympic track and field trials

A slew of Olympic berths will be up for grabs Saturday and Sunday in the final two days of the 2024 U.S. Olympic track and field trials.

Many of the sport’s biggest stars will take center stage this weekend at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, running, jumping (and sometimes both) or throwing in semifinal and final rounds of the competition.

America’s fastest man and woman – Noah Lyles and Sha’Carri Richardson – will each race for sprint doubles Saturday night, and gold medalist Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is on pace to close out the trials Sunday night with another possible world record in the hurdles.

Here’s what’s on tap at the track this weekend:

Saturday, June 29

• First event starts at 10:30 a.m. ET (7:30 a.m. local) – Men's and women's 20K racewalk final.
• TV – NBC: 8-10 p.m. ET ( Watch FREE on Fubo ).

Key events

All eyes will be on the finals of the 200 meters as Sha’Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles each attempt to qualify for a second individual event in Paris. Fresh off their titles in the 100 meters, Richardson and Lyles are seeking to win sprint doubles but will face steep challenges from Gabby Thomas and Kenny Bednarek , respectively, in the 200.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone will also be back on the track in the semifinals of the women's 400-meter hurdles, along with Rio Olympic gold medalist and Tokyo Olympic silver medalist Dalilah Muhammad , Tokyo Olympian Anna Cockrell , two-time world championship silver medalist Shamier Little and Rachel Glenn , who already qualified for the Paris Games in the high jump.

Tara Davis-Woodhall , a silver medalist at the 2023 world championships, competes in the long jump and is seeking her first Olympic berth, while in the shot put, reigning Olympic silver medalist Raven Saunders faces off against two-time world championship gold medalist Chase Jackson .

Sunday, June 30

• Finals scheduled: Men's hammer throw; women's pole vault; men's high jump; men's triple jump; women's javelin; men's 5,000 meters; men's 800 meters; women's 100-meter hurdles; women's 1,500 meters; men's 400-meter hurdles; women's 400-meter hurdles.

Key events

The hurdles take center stage on the final night of the trials. Keni Harrison , who won silver in Tokyo, seeks a return trip to the Olympics in the women's 100-meter hurdles, while reigning Olympic silver medalist Rai Benjamin looks to put his stamp on the men's 400-meter hurdles. And Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone should lead a stacked field in the women's 400-meter hurdles to close out the trials.

Bryce Hoppel , the 2024 world indoor champion, leads a hotly contested men's 800-meter final. Elle St. Pierre and Elise Cranny , who already qualified for Paris after a 1-2 finish in the 5,000 meters, face off again in the final of the women's 1,500 meters.

The women's pole vault final could come down to a showdown between Katie Moon (née Nageotte ) , the Tokyo Olympics gold medalist, and Sandi Morris , who won the silver medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
