Star Young Vikings CB Killed In Car Accident

According to Oregon Ducks beat writer James Crepea, former Oregon star cornerback and Minnesota Viking Khyree Jackson was killed in a car accident.

Jackson was 24 years old and in his first season in the NFL.

The Vikings selected Jackson in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL draft after a stellar 2023 season at Oregon. Jackson also spent two seasons at the University of Alabama and one at Fort Scott Community College. He looked to be a key component of the Vikings defense this season. Multiple sources have confirmed Jackson's passing.

For the Vikings, they'll mourn a young man taken too soon. Jackson was listed as one of the team's top backups for this season as a rookie.
