Fresh off an emphatic reaction to his "College GameDay" co-host Pat McAfee announcing his return to the show for the 2024 season, Kirk Herbstreit hopped on "The Pat McAfee Show" to chop it up with his friend and colleague. With Big Ten Media Days on the top of mind, one of the favorites to win the conference came up in conversation–The Oregon Ducks.

They’ll be equipped with one of the top rosters in the country, including a Heisman-caliber quarterback and Oklahoma transfer Dillon Gabriel. Herbstreit revealed he not only believes they could win the Big Ten, but they could win the national championship.

“I may have Oregon winning it all,” Herbstreit said on "The Pat McAfee Show ."

While many things said with Pat McAfee can be taken with a grain of salt, Herbstreit seems confident that the Ducks are one of the best teams in the country. He admitted that this would probably turn into a soundbite following the remark, but there are a lot of reasons to believe his prediction could come true.

One thing is for certain, Herbstreit is looking forward to the upcoming college football season with Pat McAfee and the rest of the crew after posting, “Game ON! Pat is back. Coach Corso is back! Coach Saban is in. Let’s GO!!!”
