Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei 2026 Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Chris Henry, Jr. visited Oregon the first time back in the spring. His time in Eugene was a success and he returned for Saturday Night Live this past weekend.

“This visit was great,” Henry told On3. “It was different because I got to experience what it’s like as a player and I got to work with coach Junior Adams . The highlights were getting to experience working with coach Adams, seeing how he coaches and talking with coach Dan Lanning .”

Lanning, Adams and the Oregon staff made it clear to the No. 1 prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking that he is wanted.

“Their message to me was that I’m a priority and they want me to be in Eugene.”

And Henry is listening to what they have to say. The Ducks are one of the schools on the Ohio State commit’s radar and he is expected to be back at Oregon for a game in the fall.

“I feel good about Oregon, the people there and I know they take care of their players,” Henry said. “I still feel strongly about Ohio State, but now being out of the state of Ohio, some schools are starting to catch my attention.”

    On3’s Scouting Report of Henry

Big receiver with a rare combination of size, athleticism and coordination as a young prospect. Measured in at over 6-foot-4.5 and around 185 pounds prior to his sophomore season. Tests as a strong athlete, posting an electronically-timed 4.65 second 40 yard dash at Under Armour’s Ohio Camp. Flashes outstanding functional movement skills at his size, with the ability to sink his hips and change direction with ease. Projects as a high level route runner as he continues to progress. Not overly long for his height, but flashes good ball skills and catch radius. Has strong pedigree as the son of the late NFL wide receiver Chris Henry. Projects as one of the top receivers early on in the 2026 cycle.
