Oregon Football Star Makes Bruce Feldman's 'Freaks List' for 2024 Season

Just one year after landing three players on Bruce Feldman's annual "Freaks List", Oregon produced another member in 2024: defensive lineman Jordan Burch.

Standing at 6-foot-5, 295 pounds, Burch has proven to be a great fit for Feldman's list, which aims to consolidate the nation's "freakiest" college football athletes into one preseason preview.

In 2023, Burch, fellow defensive lineman Brandon Dorlus and linebacker Devon Jackson represented the Ducks on Feldman's list, making Burch a two-time "freak" in 2024.

On the list of 100 players, ranked according to their "freakiness" in Feldman's eyes, Burch came in at No. 10 this August, a slight step down from his No. 4 spot last season. Still, after playing a key role in Oregon's 12-2 campaign in 2023, Feldman believes the edge rusher is a can't-miss presence for the Ducks.

"'He’s done a great job this offseason changing his body,' head coach Dan Lanning told me last month," Feldman wrote . "That is saying something considering Burch was No. 4 on my list last year before leading the Ducks with 7.5 TFLs in 2023 alongside his 34 tackles, 27 QB pressures and three sacks. But Oregon coaches are expecting a big final season to his college career."

This fall, Burch will hope to one-up his efforts in 2023 as the Ducks continue chasing a national championship as the newest members of the Big Ten.

The senior edge rusher currently projects as a day-two NFL draft prospect according to TheDraftNetwork.com.
