Popular Texoma Winery Expanding Into Grapevine, Texas
Looks like a local area winery will be opening up a new location just south of us in Grapevine. Wichita Falls is home to some great wine. In downtown Wichita Falls, we have three great places all within a few blocks of each other. One of those is OG Cellars, which technically has their actual winery just a short drive outside of Wichita Falls in Sunset, Texas. However, they just announced that they plan to expand even further in the near future.

How would you ever justify showing up to a church where the pastor was arrested for pedophilia?. It's understood that a person is a person and a building is a building, but it would be logical to think that the building would be empty after a pastor is exposed for pedophilia. A picture shows that most of the 8,000-person capacity church is empty, but how the few could show up is beyond me. It should be noted that there are six locations of the Gateway Church and at least one was "packed" when church leaders addressed the scandal.

GM Defense Provides Battery Electric Technology for Future Military
GM Defense is providing commercial battery electric technology in support of the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) Pulsed Power and Energy Laboratory (PPEL) and Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). The project, Evaluation of Electric Vehicle Batteries to Enable Directed Energy (EEVBEDE), is funded by the Operational Energy Innovation office of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), through its Operational Energy Capability Improvement Fund (OECIF). UTA PPEL will evaluate the technology to understand current capabilities of commercial automotive batteries under dynamic discharge and charge scenarios. The team's evaluation of the technology will help provide pathways and options for domestically supplied energy storage for future use in military platforms.

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - This evening our models have precipitation chances beginning in our northwestern counties. These storms are expected to be weakly organized storms. Models also show storms moving into the Childress area around 8 p.m. As of 5 p.m. a few isolated showers were already firing up near the Texas-New Mexico state line.
