St. Louis Firefighter Admits Stealing Wallet from Fatal Crash Scene
A remorseful St. Louis firefighter confessed Monday in St. Louis County Circuit Court that he stole a wallet and credit card from the scene of a fatal crash. Saying his actions put a “stain on the community and the department,” Arnold S. Britt, 41, of Ballwin, pleaded guilty to both a felony and a misdemeanor.

Little Information Released On Person Struck By Train In Kirkwood
A person struck by a train on Friday, July 5, is in the hospital recovering from serious injuries, according to the Kirkwood Police Department. At approximately 10 p.m. on July 5, Kirkwood emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Big Bend and Geyer for a report of someone struck by a westbound train. The point of impact was roughly 100 feet west of the intersection.
Arnold Police hires two officers
The Arnold Police Department is fully staffed again. The department announced on June 27 that it had hired David Humphrey and Andrew Monroe, replacing two officers who resigned earlier this year.
