Final 'Citizens Police Academy' of 2024 begins Aug 15 at Beaumont Police Department
BEAUMONT, Texas — If you're really interested in learning more about law enforcement, the Beaumont Police Department is putting on its final Citizens Police Academy of 2024. The police department is currently accepting applications for the 15-week course which starts on August 15, 2024. During the classes , which meet on Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., participants will hear from different units within the department, according to officer Haley Morrow, one of the department's public information officers.
