Orange Library invites kids to see Gator Country program
The world-famous Gator Country will be appearing at the Orange Riverside Pavilion off Simmons Drive on Wednesday, July 17, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The program about American alligators is part of the Orange Public Library's Summer Reading Program for elementary-age children. However, because of the popularity of the subject and the displays with live alligators, the library is opening the event to all ages and the public.

County sees increase in sales as Orange city goes down
The city of Orange is continuing to see a big drop in sales tax income as most of the other entities in the county are seeing healthy sales at their businesses. One critical, three others injured in shooting
Orange — One person was critically injured and three others were wounded in a shooting Monday in Orange, according to Sgt. Isaac Henry III. Police responded to a call at 6:35 p.m. Monday near 2nd Street and Schley Avenue following reports of shots fired. While searching the area, dispatchers learned a gunshot victim had arrived at Exceptional Emergency Center.
