HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Authorities arrested an Evansville man on Monday following an investigation into the sale of methamphetamine, fentanyl and heroin that began back in April.

According to an affidavit, detectives with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Drug Task Force received numerous tips about drug sales at a residence in the 400 block of Michigan Street. In June, authorities conducted traffic stops on multiple people seen leaving the residence and were able to recover drugs that they were told were sold at the home.

Authorities say multiple people identified the person selling drugs as Jarod Davidson, 54. After multiple controlled purchases of drugs and executing a search warrant at the address, detectives say they were able to recover 1.5 grams of fentanyl, 1.1 grams of oxycodone hydrochloride pills and 1.6 grams of methamphetamine.

According to an affidavit, Davidson told authorities he had been selling methamphetamine and heroin in order to support his habit. He was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and dealing in a narcotic drug. He is being held without bond.
