Here's how to drive the new turn coming to Indiana 66 and Epworth Road in Warrick County

EVANSVILLE — The gym at Evansville Christian School was turned into a miniature version of Indiana 66 Tuesday evening, as drivers were given a walkthrough presentation of a new style of turn coming to the roadway in August.
The intersection at Epworth Road and Indiana 66 will be home to a dual displaced left turn in mid August. Epworth will be one of four displaced left turn intersections on the Lloyd Expressway after all construction is complete.
The displaced left turn means all left turns are made in two steps as opposed to one.
For drivers who missed Tuesday's training, here's an overview of how the traffic movement happens. The training took drivers headed from Newburgh toward Evansville who want to turn south onto Epworth Road − those wanting to visit Deaconess Gateway Hospital, for example.
Drivers heading from Evansville toward Newburgh wanting to turn north onto Epworth will follow a similar pattern.
To South Epworth Road
Drivers on Indiana 66 heading from Newburgh to Evansville will see signage guiding them to the correct lane as they are brought to a new stoplight on Indiana 66.
South Epworth Road Keep Left
Next, signage will remind drivers to keep left, at which point drivers will arrive at the new stoplight. When that light turns green, drivers will proceed up to the main intersection at Indiana 66 and Epworth Road.
South Epworth Road Left Turn Only
At this point, drivers will see the sign indicating "left turn only" onto Epworth Road.
Drivers will take their cue from the main stoplight at the main intersection. When it turns green, drivers can proceed to turn left.
All other traffic on Indiana 66, heading toward Newburgh, heading toward Evansville and those turning north onto Epworth, will be moving at the same time.
