A new album is coming from Luke Bryan! The Georgia native announces the release of Mind Of A Country Boy, 14 songs that will be out on September 27. The record includes his current Top 10 hit, “Love You, Miss You, Mean It,” his previous single, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand,” the title track and more.

Mind Of A Country Boy follows Bryan’s last Born Here, Live Here, Die Here record, which came out in 2020.

“I’ve been able to take my time and really compile songs for this album,” Bryan says. “If it’s a song that I cut two or three years ago, and I still love it, and it still sounds fresh, then I feel like it’ll stand the test of time.”

Bryan, who celebrated 30 No. 1 singles last year, has enjoyed a lengthy career by knowing which songs to record, even if they aren’t ones he wrote himself.

“I think this album, as I’ve tried to do with all my albums, just has a little bit of everything,” Bryan acknowledges. “I do some things different vocally on this one that I’ve not done before. It’s about each song having its place and having its meaning. It’s trying not to be overly redundant with songs. I think that’s why I’ve been blessed to have a long career and what I feel like this album’s going to do.”

Bryan is currently on his Mind Of A Country Boy Tour and vows to keep playing in front of his fans for a long, long time.

“I’m still having a lot of fun in my concerts, and it’s still a big ole party,” the 48-year-old says. “But I think as you grow older and mature, subject matters change and things that you can sing about change. But the love of trying to find the right song and a song that moves people is still at the forefront of what I want to do as an artist.”

Bryan didn’t always have the success he has now. After he had a Top 5 hit with “All My Friends Say,” his debut single, the follow-up release, “We Rode in Trucks,” barely cracked the Top 40, and his record label turned down his sophomore album and sent him back to the drawing board. Through it all, Bryan never gave up, with the hard season setting him up to become one of the biggest reigning superstars in country music.

“When I moved to Nashville, I moved for all the right reasons — just because I loved country music and I loved being on stage,” Bryan recently reflected to CMT. “From the second I got here … it just felt like I’d finally found the place for me to be. I never really looked back. Then to kickstart the whole process and to have dreams of writing number ones and performing number ones and being an artist to present day, you look at that, and it’s kind of hard to wrap your head around.”

Bryan will receive the ACM Lifting Lives Award at the upcoming ACM Honors ceremony. Mind Of A Country Boy is available for pre-order here. Bryan also releasedl a new track “Closing Time in California,” which is available now. See a track list for the album below. Find music and tour dates at LukeBryan.com.
