NDOT Announces RFP Opportunity for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Under NEVI Program
(Lincoln, Neb.) — The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) is pleased to announce the opening of a procurement bid opportunity under the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Formula Program. NDOT has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) Number R231-24 for the selection of one or more qualified contractors to build, own and operate direct current fast charging (DCFC) stations at seven strategically located sites along the I-80 corridor.
Nebraska’s Spirit Catholic Radio Signs On Third New Station of 2024
KETW/90.5 (Ogallala) transmits with 2.5kW/139m (class A). A dedication and blessing ceremony for the new station was held on Aug. 17. The sign-on follows the launches of KONL/91.5 (O’Neill) and KVEJ/91.9 (Valentine) earlier this year, while KEJS/88.1 (Sargent) signed on last year. The four stations were granted as a result of a 2020 FCC filing window.

City Council to vote on Lincoln Airport's $25 million budget proposal
LINCOLN, NEB — The Lincoln Airport pitched a budget to the Lincoln City Council that could double its property tax levy. The planned budget would cost $25 million and would be used for a new terminal along with maintenance and runway projects. The airport approved the budget back in June.
