    Kelly Geary to lead new MVSB banking office in Exeter

    EXETER — MVSB (Meredith Village Savings Bank) welcomes Kelly Geary as Branch & Business Development Manager to oversee the Bank’s new Exeter Office at 2 Meeting Place Drive. The branch is currently under construction and set to open in July.

    “Kelly’s banking experience, dedication to fostering strong community relationships and customer service skills made her an excellent choice to help us lead the new Exeter Office,” said Jim Carrigan, MVSB Regional Vice President. “I know she is eager to hit the ground running and serve the needs of local residents, businesses and nonprofits.”

    “I am thrilled to join a mutual savings bank where the employees have such passion for giving back and ensuring thriving local communities,” said Kelly. “We are excited to present this new state-of-the-art banking office to the public and hope everyone stops by the open house in July to say hello and to learn about how MVSB can support their banking needs.”

    Kelly has more than 20 years of banking experience and a Master of Business Administration. She is eager to join and support community nonprofits and organizations as she gets settled in to her position. She resides in Farmington and enjoys spending time with her son and participating in Zumba and cardio dance classes.

    The public is welcome to stop by throughout the day July 19 for the MVSB Exeter Office Grand Opening Celebration. The event will feature giveaways, desserts from Clyde’s Cupcakes truck, a $1,000 nonprofit donation, outdoor games, branch tours and more!

    Attorney Keriann Roman elected to join the Partners Bank Board of Directors

    SANFORD, Maine — On Monday, May 20, Blaine Boudreau, President & CEO of Partners Bank, announced that Keriann Roman was elected to join the Partners Bank Board of Directors.

    Roman is a wife and mother of two children. She resides with her family in Rye, N.H., and they enjoy spending their free time on the New Hampshire coast and White Mountains.

    Roman is an attorney at the Drummond Woodsum law firm and specializes in the areas of municipal law, environmental and natural resources, and land use and conservation. Dedicated to improving her community, Roman has served as a Selectman, a Planning Board member, and a Recreation Commissioner. She has also been recognized as a State, Local & Municipal Rising Star several years in a row by New England Super Lawyers.

    Patrick Closson appointed to McLane Middleton’s Management Committee

    PORTSMOUTH – The law firm of McLane Middleton announced that Patrick C. Closson has been appointed to the firm’s Management Committee – the executive committee of the board of directors; overseeing strategy and business operations. Closson previously served on the firm’s Management Committee from 2016 to 2020.

    Closson is a corporate and transactional lawyer. Closson has served in leadership positions for several organizations throughout the State of New Hampshire including serving on the Executive Board of the New Hampshire Business and Industry Association and President of the University of New Hampshire Alumni Association.

    Eversource names Bob Coates President of New Hampshire Operations

    MANCHESTER – Following the recent announcement that current President of New Hampshire Operations Doug Foley will become President of Massachusetts Electric Operations, Eversource announced that Bob Coates, current Vice President of Transmission Project Management and Construction, will become the next leader of New Hampshire Operations effective July 7, 2024.

    A respected veteran of the company and industry, Coates has more than 36 years of experience and increasing responsibilities at Eversource and its predecessor companies, holding a variety of leadership positions across the Safety and Electric Operations organizations, as well as extensive experience in storm response. A resident of the Granite State living in central New Hampshire for the last several years, Coates looks forward to his new role serving and engaging with communities across the state.

    Coates holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from American International College in Massachusetts. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health Administration from the University of New Haven in Connecticut.

    During his tenure, Coates has been involved in a variety of community and industry activities including the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), Electric T&D OSHA Partnership, volunteer fire service and charitable boards. He is also a founding member of the Eversource Veterans Association board of directors and an executive sponsor of the company’s Veterans Business Resource Group.
