Train derailment in Fredericksburg, Virginia, police investigate
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — The Fredericksburg Police and Fire Department are investigating a train derailment. According to officials Saturday night just before 9 p.m., a freight train traveling along the 400 block of Cobblestone Drive derailed causing damage to structures in the area. Officials say at least five cars derailed and crashed into six garages at Cobblestone Square.
