Bronny James spoke recently with ESPN, and they asked him to rank his favorite NBA players of all time. Unsurprisingly, Bronny first picked his father, LeBron James. After that, he named Stephen Curry, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, Anthony Edwards, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander among his favorites.

"LeBron - one, Steph - two, Kyrie - three, KD - four, and Ant and Shai tied for the five..."

Bronny also named soccer star Neymar Jr. as his favorite athlete other than his dad and said that he was star-struck the first time he met Stephen Curry.

James has been the center of attention at the NBA Summer League this year. His name alone has become one of the most talked-about when it comes to the tournament, despite not being a first-round pick in this year's draft class. The scrutiny he has faced during this tournament has been incredible.

James has had a poor showing so far in the Summer League, as he struggles to adjust to the NBA. In three games, James put up 15 points, going 6-26 from the field, and a disastrous 0-12 from the three-point line.

His performance here shows why he will need time to develop in the NBA's G-League, where he is expected to play for much of next season .

Bronny James spoke about his poor showing in one of his games in the Summer League , noting that he would go straight to watching films to understand what mistakes he was making and fix them so that he could improve going forward.

Bronny James Open To Playing In The G-League

Bronny James spoke about the prospect of playing in the G-League during the course of the regular season. Being as professional as he could be, Bronny noted that he was looking forward to playing basketball , irrespective of the league that he was in. He also added that his play had taken a downturn.

"I’m just looking forward to any basketball I play – no matter what level I’m playing at. I just feel like I'm in a little slump right now."

James could definitely benefit from playing in the G-League, as he is not yet up to the level to play regular minutes in the NBA. Bronny played very little during his one and only year at USC, due to his cardiac arrest and concerns about his health. James needs time to develop, and the G-League is the best place for him to do so.

Lakers head coach JJ Redick has a lot of confidence in Bronny, saying that he believes James is a great prospect with a good work ethic, and he can have an important and effective role on the Lakers squad if he is able to develop the right way. Bronny's development in the G-League will be a major storyline this coming year.
