LeBron James took to Instagram after Team USA 's massive comeback win over Serbia to show love to his teammates. He specifically highlighted Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant in the post and simply captioned the post with the number of games they have to win in order to secure the gold medal at the 2024 Olympics.

It was an absolutely sensational showing from LeBron James, who put up a triple-double, registering 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists in the comeback win.

But many of the plaudits, rightfully so, went to Stephen Curry, who stole the show with 36 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal. Curry's big shot in the fourth quarter to give Team USA the lead will go down as one of the all-time clutch shots scored in Olympic basketball for years to come.

Kevin Durant contributed at a high level off the bench, putting up 9 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. It was a massive, team-leading showing from the big three of Team USA. The veterans on the roster showed why they are considered three of the greatest of all time, and the three faces of the NBA over the last decade.

Joel Embiid was another high-level performer for Team USA, who delivered 19 points, along with 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block. These four players were the ones who stepped up when needed for Team USA. The rest of the squad had to take more of a backseat to allow the stars to take over when the going got tough.

Team USA Ready To Win It All

Stephen Curry spoke after the game about the massive win. He shouted out the entirety of Team USA for the grit and strength they showed in the win against Serbia and claimed that this experience has been the most fun he has had playing basketball in a very long time.

While Curry is probably being honest about how much fun he is having, he and Team USA weren't having fun for most of the game. Serbia actually led for almost the entire game against Team USA, with them being in the lead for 35:12 of the 40-minute game, and Team USA only led for 3:25.

Team USA players stepped up and delivered when they most needed to, but head coach Steve Kerr will be slightly concerned about the problems Serbia posed them for most of the game.

Despite dominating against Serbia in their Olympic opener last week, they struggled greatly and looked like they would lose in a semi-final game of the Olympics for the first time since 2004.

Kerr will not have a lot of time to assess the problems, as they play France this Saturday in the gold medal game. Playing against Victor Wembanyama is never easy, but factoring in the fact that France will have very vocal home support in the arena, Team USA will have to be at their best to win the gold medal once again.
