Rachel Nichols shared a video from Team USA 's party after winning the gold medal. Stephen Curry revealed a jumper that read 'Nuit Nuit', which is French for 'Night Night', a phrase Curry commonly uses when he hits his iconic gesture to the crowd when he puts a game to bed

"Nuit nuit! In France, we say that instead of 'night night'. I ain't gotta say nothing more."

Curry was clearly just having some cheeky fun at the expense of the French fans who had been hostile to Team USA throughout the tournament. Curry has been known to hit the 'night night' gesture after big games where he makes some clutch shots to win the game for his team. And that is exactly what he did today.

Stephen Curry had an incredible game for Team USA today, putting up 24 points, with 1 rebound, 5 assists, and 2 steals.

It was a great showing from Curry, who even hit the dagger three in the final minute of the game to seal the win for Team USA. Curry delivered some big performances for Team USA in their last two games, but he didn't start out hot.

Stephen Curry struggled out the block when the Olympics started. In his first four games, Curry averaged 7.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.5 steals. He shot just 35% from the field, and 25% from the three-point line. This was a really difficult stretch for Stephen Curry

He turned things around the in final two games of the tournament, as he averaged 30.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.5 steals. His shooting numbers better reflected his greatness in these games, shooting at 62.5% from the field and 65.3% from the field.

Stephen Curry Joins Elite List Of Winners

With his gold medal win, Stephen Curry joined an elite list of players who have won an NBA championship, Finals MVP, regular season MVP, and a gold medal. Curry is the latest player to achieve this, after Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant.

Stephen Curry continues to add to his legacy as one of the all-time greats in basketball history. With the one major accolade missing from his list of accomplishments now fulfilled, Curry can focus on expanding his legacy even further in his final few years as a player.

LeBron James spoke after the gold medal game and gave the 2024 Team USA squad their nickname - The Avengers . It is an appropriate nickname, as Team USA did assemble some of the mightiest basketball players in the country to secure the gold medal for them.

This tournament gave fans the chance to see Stephen Curry play competitive basketball with LeBron James and Kevin Durant. The three defining players of a generation on the same together hasn't happened since Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, and Larry Bird teamed together on the 1992 Dream Team.

Fans were thrilled to see the trio play together, and they all delivered some incredible performances. If it was the last time, fans can be glad they got to witness the three pillars of the NBA team up just this once for a big tournament.
