Bam Adebayo recently took to X to ask his fans an interesting question and it appears he might have done so to take a bit of a friendly jab at A'ja Wilson. Adebayo hilariously asked whether people stopped ironing clothes after the COVID-19 pandemic ended.

"Do people still iron their clothes?? Or did it stop after Covid?"

Now, you wouldn't think much of this post in isolation, but let me give some context. About 40 minutes before Adebayo asked that question, Wilson had posted a picture in a wrinkled white t-shirt.

It doesn't take a genius to link Adebayo's post to this one from Wilson. He didn't tag reply to her post in an attempt to make it inconspicuous, but his fans quickly deduced his motive.

Rumors have been flying around for a while now that Adebayo and Wilson are dating , and such incidents only add more fuel to the fire. These two were also spotted together in Paris and were seen getting into a car together.

Adebayo and Wilson also revealed their secret handshake at the Olympics. After she helped Team USA win the gold, she went over to some of the men's players who were in attendance and that's when we saw the handshake.

I think it's only a matter of time before Adebayo and Wilson reveal to the world that they are in a relationship. They'd be quite the power couple too.

Wilson has now established herself as the best player in the WNBA and is on her way to going down as one of the all-time greats. The 28-year-old is averaging 27.3 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.8 blocks per game for the Las Vegas Aces in the 2024 season.

At this point, Wilson is the heavy favorite to win MVP and if she does, it would be the third time that she would have won the award. Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, and Lauren Jackson are the only players in WNBA history to have been named MVP thrice and it would be quite the feat for her to tie them. Wilson also won Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023 and looks to be a good bet to win it yet again.

As for Adebayo, he hasn't quite dominated in the NBA the way Wilson has in the WNBA, but he has been one of the better big men in the league for a while now. The 27-year-old averaged 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game in the 2023-24 season for the Miami Heat .

Adebayo finished third in voting for DPOY in 2024 and made the NBA All-Defensive First Team as well. He followed that up by winning the gold medal at the Olympics in Paris like Wilson and they both now have two of them to their name.
