A Facelift for Fair Lawn: New Beginnings
In October 2023, the New Beginnings by Jackie hair salon in Fair Lawn cut the ribbon on a new storefront façade, leading to an uptick in business. This project, which cost just under $12,000 to complete, was part of the Fair Lawn Storefront Improvement Program created through the state’s Main Street New Jersey program to help the town’s business owners better compete post-pandemic.

No one ever thinks of farmland, the gorgeous lakes and mountains, the Jersey shore, the hiking trails, the nature. All we ever hear about is the dirty reputation, which just isn’t warranted or fair.
Bergen County gas station attendant charged, accused of overcharging customers
A Park Ridge gas station attendant at Delta Gas was charged and accused of repeatedly overcharging customers, police said on Tuesday. Police alleged the unidentified attendant at the Kinderkamack Road Delta would manually charge more money when customers would use credit cards. When called out on the discrepancy by drivers, the attendant pretended it was a mistake and gave back the money, police said.

Fair Lawn Firework Show Started the Summer Season With Spectacular Display
FAIR LAWN, NJ - The borough held its annual fireworks show on June 30 and weather was a delight, for once, rather than a hindrance. City and state officials urged New York parents Tuesday to get their kids off their phones and outside — and they gave a few suggestions on how to do it. Gov. Cleaning effort in Paterson, NJ looks to spruce up commercial spaces
PATERSON - Mayor Andre Sayegh has been looking for a tool to spruce up city streets, and he tells New Jersey 101.5 the "Paterson is Picking Up" initiative is the answer. A cleaning crew is part of the ongoing effort to pick up trash along the six wards' commercial spaces; solar-powered trash receptacles have also been installed that alert the Department of Public Works when full.
