These Businesses Have Been Named Fair Lawn Green Ambassadors

FAIR LAWN, NJ - Haus Café and Jenna Aliyah are the two 2024 Green Ambassador Award recipients, according to the Green Team.

The Borough of Fair Lawn, in collaboration with the Fair Lawn Green Team, recognizes businesses in the community that implement environmentally sustainable practices with the Green Ambassador Award. Businesses applied through an interactive form. Some criteria included prompting and demonstrating environmental leadership, reducing waste, pollution reduction, community participation and implementing green practices.

According to the Green Team:

Jaime Lyn Geduldick, the owner of Haus Cafe has been an integral part of the Fair Lawn community. Since 2019, Haus Cafe located on 12-54 River Road has been an active member and has sponsored many community events. Furthermore, Haus Cafe uses green cleaning products, purchases recycled materials and reduces product packaging. Stop by Haus for some coffee, Hausmade syrups, pastries, sandwiches and smoothies.

Jenna Glendye, the owner of Jenna Aliyah is an active artist spreading creativity and environmentally sustainable items at various community events. Jenna Aliyah takes pride in creating items that are vegan and natural. Reducing unnecessary packaging for items is vital as many items are sold and shipped from the online store. Some items that are handmade and created include banners, towels, stickers, totes and canvases.
