Iowa DNR Investigates Fish Kill in Northeast Iowa
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is investigating a northeast Iowa fish kill. On July 19th, the DNR Field Office in Manchester was notified of dead fish in Crane Creek, approximately two miles southwest of Readlyn in Bremer County. Officials believe the fish kill originated at 250th Street and Piedmont Avenue.

David Wilson of Ryan Companies US, Inc. was elected as Chair of the Grow Cedar Valley Board of Directors and began his term at the annual meeting held July 23 at Lincoln Savings Bank located at TechWorks in downtown Waterloo. Wilson will chair the regional economic and community development organization through June 2026.
