FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) — A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Wednesday for Fairborn’s newest school.

On Wednesday, July 17, Fairborn community members, district leaders and government officials appeared at the new Fairborn High School for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Members of the community received a chance to tour the newly-constructed educational facility.

Gene Lolli, superintendent of Fairborn City Schools, says the process has been a lot of hard work to ensure the building was perfect for everyone, but is worth it to see the outcome.

“It’s been a long process. We had a community planning group that help put this building together a lot of input a lot of support and it all came to fruition today.”

Construction of the building was initiated after Fairborn voters approved a 5.83-mill bond issue.
