SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WTVG) - The Lucas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed one person was killed by a train in Springfield Township Saturday morning. Police say they first received a call around 8:30 a.m. for a pedestrian struck by a train at the intersection of Crissey Road and Geiser.
