Haven Hot Chicken Sets Date For Opening Of New Location In Town Of Fairfield: Here's When
The newest Haven Hot Chicken will open in the town of Fairfield on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 907 Post Road (Route 1). The 1,500-square-foot location will offer its signature menu of crispy, crunchy, juicy, spicy chicken and vegetarian options ranging from the country (not spicy) to Haven (extremely spicy). This includes their signature "THE Sandwich," other featured mains dishes, classic sides, and seasonal limited-time offerings, including this summer's salad, strawberry banana pudding, and a BBQ chicken sandwich.

Community Concert Band to Serenade Us Under the Stars at Paradise Green
The Stratford Community Concert Band is a 40-member swing band. Its repertoire is largely devoted to the performance of classic and modern swing arrangements. Members range in age from high school students to retirees and hail from the Stratford area and beyond. The venue, in its third season, was a former baseball stadium, turned into a boutique amphitheater. Lisa Bastoni, an award-winning Staples High School graduate now based in Northamption, Mass., will perform with Sean Staples at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Saugatuck Rowing Club, 521 Riverside Ave. A performance by Suzanne Sheridan, the concert series organizer, will open the event.
