America’s SBDC Iowa announces new Regional Director
AMES, Iowa – America’s SBDC Iowa (SBDC) has announced that Elizabeth Christensen is the new Regional Director for the Iowa Western SBDC at Iowa Western Community College, located in Council Bluffs. Elizbeth Christensen will advise and train entrepreneurs and existing business owners in Pottawattamie, Shelby, Harrison, Page, Mills, Cass and Fremont counties. Elizabeth started in early June and is excited to continue supporting western Iowa businesses.

KCII Big Red Radio Stop in Wayland for Fourth of July
The KCII Big Red Radio will be in Wayland for the Fourth of July celebrations on Thursday. We will be broadcasting live from Wayland from 8 to noon. Before the parade, enjoy the Lions Club breakfast. The parade will run through Main Street. After the parade, guests will have the opportunity to have lunch put together by the WACO basketball teams. Firefighter water games will be held for kids on Main Street. The festivities will lead up to the fireworks show at dusk, donated by the City of Wayland and displayed by Wayland firefighters.
