Eagles beat Teague, Buffalo

The Fairfield Eagles picked up two much needed wins over Teague and Buffalo this past week to move to 14-7 overall and 5-4 in district play.

Fairfield hosted Teague on Tuesday, April 2, and took a 6-3 home win over the Lions.

The Eagles had eight hits on the night. Rowdy Hand and Mason Daniel had two each as Angel Serrato, Cal Wilson, Dylan McGowan, and Kipp Collins had one each.

Cameron Cockerell was on the mound for the Eagles as he gave up four hits and struck out seven batters.

The Eagles traveled to Buffalo and brought home a huge road win 11-0 in five innings on Friday night, April 5.

Fairfield played Westwood on Tuesday night, April 9. The Eagles will travel to Franklin on Friday, April 12, to take on the Lions, before hosting the Elkhart Elks on Tuesday, April 16, which will also be Senior Night.
