I will miss the best hometown paper
When I saw the headlines on the July 3rd issue, I was dumbfounded! I love the Greer Citizen!!! I looked forward to many things each week:. My first go-to was always the column by Pam Stone. She was the highlight of my week with all her antics about horses, cats, her husband, and his car. She will be missed the most.
The Greer Citizen is irreplaceable
To say that I am saddened by the news that the Greer Citizen will no longer report news at the end of this month is an understatement! As a life long resident of Greer, I remember birthdays, deaths, anniversaries, Greer High School Sports, Riverside High School Sports, Blue Ridge High School Sports, All Area High School News, Garden Club tips and articles, the local political news, Greer Family Festival news, the Christmas Parades, the Best of the Best in Greer Contest, the Pick’em Contest, local crime reports, Greer Chamber News and Events, Local events at all our area churches, and the list goes on.
