Shackley happy with Trials performance, looking forward to NC State, 2028
Bedford’s Leah Shackley is getting used to the larger and longer swim meets, and Shackley is excited with how her future looks. The recently graduated swimmer, who will be a freshman at North Carolina State when she gets on campus, competed in 3 events last week at the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials in Indianapolis.

Windber School District approves $24.2M budget, 24'-25' school year, concerns shared
Somerset County, PA — A board meeting was held Wednesday, at the Windber Area School District, where board members approved their 2024-25 budget of more than $24.2 million. Also approved was a resolution allowing for funds under the amount of $5 million to be used to acquire athletic facility.
