Local Amish Man Accused of Groping Woman in Store in Pine Creek Township
PINE CREEK TWP., Pa. (EYT) — A local Amish man is facing charges for allegedly groping a woman at a convenience store in Pine Creek Township. According to court documents, on Monday, July 22, Punxsutawney-based State Police filed the following criminal charge against 21-year-old Atlee E. Hershberger, of Brockway, in District Judge Gregory Bazylak’s office:
New Castle Men Plead Guilty in Puerto Rico/Western Pennsylvania Drug Trafficking Operation
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Two residents of New Castle, Pennsylvania pleaded guilty to charges of violating federal narcotics laws, United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan announced today. Kevin Tulla Torres, age 28, pleaded guilty to distributing and conspiring to distribute cocaine. Luis Rivera Otero, age 37, pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute cocaine. Tulla Torres, with the help of Rivera Otero, managed a drug trafficking operation that sold drugs in Western Pennsylvania, specifically in the New Castle/Lawrence County area. Knox man accused of child endangerment while driving
Joshua Marshall, a 33-year-old man from Knox, faces multiple endangerment charges after an incident involving his pregnant girlfriend and her two young daughters. On July 15, the woman, who is 15 weeks pregnant with Marshall’s child, called the police in distress, reporting that Marshall was driving recklessly with her and her daughters, aged one and three, in the vehicle. The complaint states that an argument over his driving led Marshall to abruptly pull off the road, causing the woman to hit her head. Marshall then continued to drive erratically, repeatedly slamming on the brakes, further endangering his passengers. The woman feared for her and her daughters’ lives. After stopping in Emlenton, Marshall allegedly drove off on her motorcycle without permission. He is charged with two felony counts of endangering the welfare of children, a misdemeanor for recklessly endangering another person, and two traffic violations. Marshall is in Venango County jail awaiting a preliminary hearing.
