Arcing insulator sparks Metro slowdown on the Red Line
WASHINGTON — Heads up, Metro riders. A track problem at the Van Ness Metro station slowed Wednesday morning commute. Around 9 a.m., Metro said Red Line trains were not running between Friendship Heights and Cleveland Park because of an arcing insulator at the Van Ness station.
