A fatal motorcycle collision on Saturday morning in Crownsville has resulted in the death of a local man, police officials confirm. The accident involving a motorcycle and a vehicle occurred at the intersection of St. Stephens Church Road and Penderbrooke Drive, the Anne Arundel County Police reported, as per WMAR2 News.

(May 20, 2024) – Boater Daniel Gray of Butler, Pennsylvania, caught a five-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 5 ounces, Saturday to win the MLF Phoenix Bass Fishing League (BFL) Presented by T-H Marine on the Potomac River . Hosted by the Charles County Board of Commissioners, the tournament was the first event of the season for the BFL Northeast Division. Gray earned $10,926, including the lucrative $7,000 Phoenix MLF Contingency Bonus, for his victory.

Annapolis Blues FC Finishes Regular Season with 5-0 Win over Grove United
The Annapolis Blues secured a 5-0 win over Grove United in its final game of the 2024 regular season, clinching the top seed in the Mid-Atlantic Conference Playoffs. While the opening 20 minutes saw minimal attacking action, it was still a display of domination by the Blues. Annapolis maintained the majority share of possession and found the breakthrough in the 21st minute. Miles Avery continued his hot streak, scoring off of a corner kick. Matias De Jesus managed to save a bouncing ball that almost went over the end line, kicking a volley across and into the mouth of the goal. The Grove defender attempted to clear the ball. However, his clearance fell right to the feet of Avery who took a touch to settle and finished calmly into the back of the net.
