Two Maryland Men Indicted For Wire Fraud
Baltimore, Md. (From the U.S. Department of Justice) – “A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging Amit Ahuja, age 40, of Westminster, Maryland, Kapil Gulati, age 50, of Glen Burnie, Maryland, and Priyanshu Walia, age 39, of Cleveland, Ohio, with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and wire fraud in connection with a technical support scheme where victims were made to believe that their computers had been compromised by a virus, or were susceptible to hacking, and payments were needed for computer repair services or software.

Falls Church Launches New ‘Park Palooza’ Event Tonight

Metro Washington Association of Blind Athletes (MWABA) was thrilled to receive a grant from Adventure Cycling for our second annual tandem bike camping trip. This year, 25 campers braved the heat to camp with us on the Marsden Track on the C&O Canal Towpath. Of this year’s group, three people were first-time bike campers. 2 Men Sentenced for Possessing Thousands of Fentanyl Pills
Codefendants Malik Marin, 27, and Tuflah Davies, 27, were both sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of a large amount of fentanyl. Marin, of Bowie, and Davies, of Laurel, traveled from Los Angeles to Rockville via Amtrak train and were transporting drugs, according to court documents.

While the buyer got the keyboard, Atyam said he never got the money, because PayPal held the funds.
