Problems with Kentucky’s vehicle registration system are hurting car dealers, county clerk says
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT)—Kentucky’s new program to register vehicle titles is making progress, but some county clerks and car dealers are still having major issues. Kentucky lawmakers in the interim Transportation Committee were briefed Tuesday about the KAVIS program. It was implemented in January and designed to simplify the car title and registration system.

Woman Wanted In Florida Fatal Crash Located In Oak Grove
A woman wanted in connection to a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist in Pensacola, Florida, has been arrested in Oak Grove Tuesday. Oak Grove Police say 41-year-old Jessica Hendrickson was located at exit 86 on Interstate 24 after cameras alerted on her tag and she was taken into custody in connection to a hit-and-run crash with a bicyclist.
Tennessee man faces drug charges after multi-county pursuit
A Tennessee man faces drug and other charges after a high-speed pursuit from Trigg County into Calloway County Monday morning. The Trigg County Sheriff's Office said the operator, 26-year-old Lemonte Newsome of Hendersonville, Tennessee, led officers at speeds around 120 mph as they pursued Newsome along US 68 into Calloway County.
MISSING JUVENILE ALERT: Police seek help locating runaway 17-year-old
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a runaway juvenile, 17-year-old Nevan Boyd. He was last seen on July 12, at around 5 p.m. at a residence on Paradise Hill Road. Boyd was last seen wearing a white hoodie and red shorts and is currently in the Department of Children’s Services custody. He’s also originally from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Ft. Thomas to improve community complex with $5 million, help from school district
FT. THOMAS, Ky. (WKRC) - Ft. Thomas is getting $5 million from the state legislature and additional funds from the school district to improve the Tower Park Community Complex. The Tower Park Community Complex is made up of more than 85 acres of forest, sporting facilities, playgrounds, hiking/biking trails, and two recreation buildings used for events and activities.
St. Bethlehem 10U softball team wins little league state championship
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) –The St. Bethlehem 10U softball team faced off against Lafayette at Civitan Park on Tuesday, July 16. The two teams went head-to-head with a state title on the line and timely hitting would power St. Bethlehem to an 8-3 win. With the victory, the Clarksville area softball team won the little league 10U state title and advanced to regional play next week.
