The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has announced an overhaul to its beloved Rainforest into a new Primate Forest, and its closure until 2026 (”Cleveland Metroparks Zoo announces shutdown date for RainForest,” cleveland.com, Aug. 15). This is exciting news to employees, patrons of the Zoo, and area residents. While exciting, it also means patrons will have limited access during the winter months -- a time when families with young children look forward to indoor activities such as the Rainforest.
