WVU fall camp preview: Offensive Line
It's about that time again, which is crazy because it feels like just yesterday I was writing the spring camp previews. Back then, football preparation was taking a backseat to the pending basketball coaching search. This time around, fall camp will be in the spotlight of the WVU sports world. Today we continue the position-by-position preview for preseason camp. The Mountaineers went 9-4 last season, including beating up on UNC in a bowl game that ended with Neal Brown being covered in mayonnaise. West Virginia football enters the 2024 season with significant wind in its sails, so fall camp should be particularly interesting to watch next month. At this current time, there is no media access schedule.

One more day this week with the chance of rain
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Our week has been quite cloudy with sporadic showers and heavy downpours moving through. The rain has been needed here in the Mid-Ohio Valley as drought conditions persist, but one county seems to have picked up more rain than it has needed. That county is Washington County in Ohio. It has had two straight evenings with decent rainfall totals and a few spots picking up torrential downpours leading to some localized flooding. Now, a new drought monitor will be released this morning. We do not expect most of the Mid-Ohio Valley to be taken out of the drought category, but we do see some of the region improving a cut out of the severe drought category. More rain is definitely needed, and, in fact, we will see shower and thunderstorm chances return next week.
