Black bear spotted in Bridgeport near elementary school
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - A black bear was spotted in Bridgeport Wednesday morning. The bear was seen near Johnson Elementary School on Johnson Avenue. Tiffany Criss Adams took the picture and said the bear ran out of the wooded lot that’s currently for sale along Johnson Avenue toward the school, but when a vehicle spooked it, it ran back into the wooded lot.
