MINNEAPOLIS — Following President Joe Biden's poor debate performance last week, a key election forecaster shifted Minnesota from "likely Democratic" in this presidential race to "lean Democratic," signaling the state is more competitive than it was four years ago when Biden won easily. University of Virginia's "Sabato's Crystal Ball" at its Center for Politics changed its rating for Minnesota in wake of that debate. State Patrol IDs Two Minnesota Men Killed in Separate Crashes
(KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released the names of two people killed in separate traffic incidents Tuesday night. One of the victims was a 19-year-old man from the Grand Rapids area. The State Patrol says Carter Haithcock of Goodland was fatally injured around 11:20 PM on Tuesday when he was struck by an SUV while he was walking in the traffic lane on Highway 169 in Nashwauk. The Grand Rapids woman driving the SUV was not hurt.
